How to Play
Dive into the thrilling world of Void Scourge! Assemble your deck, summon mighty creatures, and outwit your opponent in a strategic clash of wits and luck. Whether you're a seasoned commander or a newcomer, this guide will help you master the game and dominate the battlefield.
Quick action flow
- Pick a mode: Season by default, switch from the home screen if needed.
- Grab your resources: starter boosters + 30 gold to begin.
- Open boosters: collect your first cards.
- Build a deck: 6 cards, attack order matters.
- Battle: play matches to earn gold and climb Elo.
- Optimize: Catalyst, quests, and Market alerts (outbids, your bids, wins).
- Sign-Up: Receive 3 booster packs at sign-up, plus 1 extra after email verification.
- Daily Rewards: Every day at 00:01 (French time), get a free 5-card booster. Complete two daily quests to earn up to two extra boosters.
- Referral Program: Invite friends—when they validate their account, you earn 5 boosters.
- Collection: View your cards, plan your strategy, and build decks before battle.
- Deck Creation: Each deck holds up to 6 cards. Create multiple decks—each has its own score.
- Ranking Info: Only your best deck counts for leaderboards—experiment freely.
Void Scourge offers three distinct modes: Legacy, Season, and Draft. Each provides a unique experience. See the Game Modes page for details.
The Scourge Catalyst can transform your cards. Sacrifice 5 cards of the same level to receive a stronger one—most of the time.
- Card Selection: Choose five cards of the same level. Mixed levels cannot be added.
- Important: Same race or bonus does not affect the result—only the level matters.
- Abnormality: Sacrificing five Abnormality cards guarantees an Uncommon card.
- New Card: A card is generated based on the sacrificed ones and typically has a higher level.
This system adds strategic depth: decide whether to sacrifice several cards to potentially gain a powerful one.
Each day brings unique quests that challenge your skills. Progress is tracked automatically and rewards include boosters or items—encouraging new strategies and deck combinations.
Battles are fully automated—Void Scourge is an auto-battler! Creatures attack in deck order. If a card has “Taunting”, it is targeted first; otherwise targets are random. If an attack is possible, it happens. Matchmaking pairs you with similar skill. Battles left unfinished after ≈3 minutes count as a loss.
Gold coins
You start with 30 gold. On each win, you have a 1 in 5 chance to find 1 to 3 gold coins. The daily cap is 10 coins: if a reward goes over it, it still counts, then no more coins can be earned until tomorrow.
Gold coins are used to bid on cards listed for sale (not available in Draft).
- Rules: 2 active listings per event, 7-day auctions.
- Proxy bid: you set a maximum and the current price only climbs to the minimum needed.
- Extension: +1 day only if less than 24 hours remain.
- Alerts: track outbids, your bids, and won cards.
Achievements mark your top performances. Whenever your deck reaches 1st place on any leaderboard—Global, by Race, or by Level—it is recorded automatically.
- Automatic Unlock: Checked weekly (or at Draft end) for new #1 positions.
- Deck Snapshot: Your exact deck at the time of victory is saved with date and category.
- Unique Illustration: A custom image is generated for each achievement and shown on your profile.
- Profile Display: All past achievements remain visible—your personal Hall of Fame.
