Game Modes
Void Scourge offers three distinct game modes: Legacy, Season, and Draft. Each mode provides a unique experience and a different way to play. Below is a detailed explanation of each mode:
Legacy
Legacy mode is the standard game mode and your permanent collection. All cards earned from completed Seasons and Drafts are transferred here. In this mode, you can use all the cards you have collected to build your decks and play against other players. Your ranking in Legacy mode is permanent and reflects your overall skill and experience.
Season
Seasons are periodic events that last for 6 months. At the beginning of each season, the rankings are reset, and all players start on an equal footing. At the end of the season, all cards collected are transferred to your Legacy collection. This mode allows for a fresh start and new challenges on a regular basis. Daily quests are only available in Season mode.
Draft
Enter the ever-changing challenge of Draft Mode, where adaptability, clever deckbuilding, and weekly competition define your path to glory.
- Weekly Challenge: Every Sunday at 00:01 (French time), a new Draft session begins. Each player is granted 14 free booster packs to build their ultimate deck and face off against others in this limited pool environment. For each new Draft event, three races are randomly selected, and only cards from those races are available for the draft.
You'll receive 8 boosters on the first day, then 1 additional booster per day for the rest of the week — up to a total of 14. Don't worry if you miss a day: boosters will still accumulate and be waiting for you when you return.
- Independent Mode: Draft Mode is completely separate from Legacy Mode. Your cards, decks, and ranking in Draft have no impact on your Legacy collection—and vice versa. You can switch between the two modes directly from the homepage.
- Draft Lifecycle: Each Draft season lasts exactly one week, ending the following Sunday at 00:01 when a new session begins. This tight timeframe keeps the competition fierce and dynamic.
- Rewards: At the end of the Draft, the top performers get to preserve part of their deck. The number of cards earned depends on the player's ranking percentile. The cards are randomly selected from your best cards of the event. This selection is made from your deck. If this deck has fewer than six cards, it is supplemented with your best cards from your event collection (sorted by level) to form the final pool for the random draw.
- Top 10%: keeps 6 cards
- Top 20%: keeps 5 cards
- Top 30%: keeps 4 cards
- Top 40%: keeps 3 cards
- Top 50%: keeps 2 cards
- Top 60%: keeps 1 card
- Below 60%: All cards are lost to the void...
The last booster is guaranteed to contain an Epic card, if you didn't get any during this draft.
Draft Mode is the ultimate test of resourcefulness and quick thinking. Can you rise to the top with limited tools and walk away with powerful additions to your Legacy collection?
