Season mode in Void Scourge
Season is the main long-form competitive event. It gives every player a fresh event collection, a daily progression loop, and several ways to measure a deck of up to six cards over roughly four months.

A separate competition lasting about four months
A Season has its own cards, decks, battles, and leaderboards. The ranking is reset when a new Season begins, so progress in Legacy does not create an Elo advantage inside the new event.
Cards must belong to the selected event before they can enter a Season deck. Switching the active event changes the collection and decks available to the player; it does not merge their ratings.
- A normal PvP deck accepts up to six distinct cards; fill all six positions for a complete lineup.
- Card position fixes attack order from slot 1 through slot 6.
- Each deck owns its Elo rating; there is no single account-wide Elo score.
Daily booster and quest rhythm
The active Season assigns one free booster per day and two daily quests: one fixed quest and one selected from a weighted pool. Each completed quest awards one booster, so regular play expands the event collection without requiring purchases.
Quest objectives can ask for a win, a specific race, a maximum rarity threshold, or a number of surviving cards. Read the exact objective before changing a deck: a valid victory can still fail a quest when its composition condition is not met.
- Every booster contains five cards.
- Open available boosters before rebuilding, because new cards can change the best six-card combination.
- Keep a restricted deck when pursuing a race or rarity quest rather than dismantling every working list.
Several leaderboards, one best deck per player
The global Season ranking retains the best eligible deck for each player who has recorded a battle. Separate race rankings require a truly mono-race deck, while level-based rankings limit every card to the published maximum level.
The three level categories are Rare max at level 2, Very Rare max at level 3, and Epic max at level 4. A powerful higher-level card can improve open competition but make the deck ineligible for these restricted tables.
- Use different decks for open, mono-race, and maximum-level goals.
- Review Elo after several battles rather than judging a deck from one random target sequence.
- Only the strongest qualifying deck represents a player in each leaderboard.
What happens when the Season closes
At closure, the Season stops accepting normal event progress and its cards are archived into Legacy. The permanent mode therefore records long-term collection growth while the next Season can begin from a clean competitive context.
Treat the final weeks as a choice between a last ranking push and preparing useful cards for Legacy. The old Season ranking remains a record of that event; it does not become the rating of the next one.
- Finish time-sensitive quests before the event closes.
- Do not assume an old Season deck is selectable in a new Season.
- Use Legacy after migration to revisit combinations from closed events.
