Weekly Draft mode
Draft is a short, self-contained event built for adaptation. Every weekly rotation restricts the card pool to three races and gives all participants the same scheduled supply of fourteen boosters.

A fresh event with three available races
Each Draft is attached to three randomly selected races. Only cards assigned to that event are available, so a successful deck from Season or Legacy cannot simply be copied into the new rotation.
The event lasts about one week. Its short horizon rewards reading the cards actually opened instead of waiting for an ideal collection that may never appear in that Draft.
- Check the three event races before opening and sorting cards.
- Build a complete six-card active deck from the Draft collection.
- The card Market is disabled in Draft, so improvement comes from the scheduled boosters and Catalyst choices.
Fourteen boosters on a catch-up schedule
A Draft grants eight boosters on day one, then one additional booster per day until the cumulative total reaches fourteen. Assignment catches up missed days, so joining later does not require opening the site on every earlier date.
Because each booster contains five cards, the first opening session establishes most of the raw pool. Later boosters are still important: a single new bonus, race concentration, or level can justify changing positions or rebuilding a deck.
- Open the initial eight before committing to a narrow strategy.
- Recheck the active deck after every daily booster.
- Preserve enough same-level cards before deciding whether Catalyst is worth the loss of depth.
Random active opponents and independent Elo
For a player’s first three completed battles in an event, onboarding first looks for a more accessible opponent. After that introduction, Draft selects an active eligible opponent at random instead of using the closest-Elo pool applied to Season and Legacy.
Deck Elo still changes after completed battles, and the weekly Draft leaderboard is separate from every other event. A loss affects that deck in this Draft only; it does not lower a Legacy or Season deck.
- Prepare for varied opposing levels and race combinations.
- Use positions and Taunting to make the deck less dependent on a specific matchup.
- A short event favors robust decisions over extensive tuning for one opponent.
End-of-Draft percentile rewards
Final rewards depend on the percentile reached. Tiers from the top 10 percent through the top 60 percent award from six down to one cards selected at random from a six-card pool derived from the player’s best-Elo Draft deck.
Those rewards join the active Season, or Legacy when no Season is active. Ranking late in the week therefore matters twice: it records Draft performance and determines how many reward cards enter longer-term progression.
- Aim for the next percentile threshold rather than an arbitrary Elo number.
- Keep the active deck legal and complete before the final battles.
- Expect a new race restriction and new collection when the next Draft starts.
