Play Without Buying Power

The core collection loop is available without a purchase. You can create an account, open starter boosters, build a deck and begin automatic battles using the rewards supplied by the game.

What you can do for free

Void Scourge runs in your browser with no download and no paid card-pack step between creating an account and starting a battle. The initial collection comes from starter rewards, then grows through the game’s progression loops.

A free account can therefore reach the same deckbuilding decisions as any other account: compare individual cards, order six positions and test the result against other players.

  • Starter boosters help you create your first collection.
  • Season quests and daily rewards provide more cards over time.
  • Draft supplies a separate weekly pool and end-of-event rewards.

Progression comes from the game loop

More cards are earned through boosters, quests, referrals and Draft rewards. Wins improve a deck’s Elo, while the collection and Catalyst let you explore stronger or more specialised lineups.

The card Market uses in-game gold when it is available; it is not a store where real money buys cards, stats or a ranking position. Draft and Ascension deliberately disable the Market so those modes stay focused on their own rules.

  • No real-money card purchase is required to play.
  • A higher level is earned through collection choices, not a paid stat boost.
  • Each leaderboard keeps the best qualifying deck for a player.

A fair way to measure a deck

Automatic battles make the comparison visible: both players bring an ordered deck, then the same battle rules resolve the matchup. Elo rewards repeated performance rather than a one-time purchase.

There are still strategic differences between collections and modes. The promise is narrower and factual: the browser game does not sell a card, stat or ranking advantage that replaces deckbuilding.

  • Build, test and improve before chasing a leaderboard.
  • Use Season for a fresh competitive start and Legacy for permanence.
  • Read the game rules so “free” matches the actual progression system.
